Currys Rebrands B2B Division in Shift Now Tow Small Business Tech Segment

UK Electrics Retailer Currys has set up an important shift to the British segment in small companies through its B2B division, Currys Business, in Rebranding and expanding.

The move comes in response to a substantial increase in customers, with 75,000 new business customers who have been taken over in the 12 months since August 2024.

The retailer wants to benefit from the market opportunities that are presented in the UK by small and medium -sized companies (SMEs).

In July 2024, Currys Business added three new local business hubs in Stevenage, Solihull and Exeter, which increases the total to 57 locations with plans for three more.

These hubs, located in Currys stores, offer SMEs on personalized consultation, exclusive business prices, 30-day payment conditions and business-relevant services such as IT installation on site.

The expansion reflects the understanding of Currys that SMEs prefer face-to-face service, which distinguishes itself from online B2B platforms such as Amazon Business.

Currys Business also supports SMEs through its contact center and offers national access to dedicated business experts for technical needs, ranging from energy savings to solving technical problems and recycling products at the end of life.

Currys Business Director Chris Williams stated: “We see the growing demand of small companies that need much more and then only want to order online.

“Small companies are confronted with enormous cost pressure and want to save money where possible, where the expertise of Currys Business colleagues can really make a difference. After 30 years of supporting companies, we are perfectly positioned to become the one-stop shop of the UK for SMEs who want technological solutions and support with human expertise.”

In addition to sales, Currys Business is expanding its offer to solutions for technical life cycle service, including delivery, installation, configuration on site and support at the end of the lifespan. These services ensure a safe removal of IT assets and bulkecycling, so that companies offer the necessary certifications and data protection.

Currys Business also helps customers use AI technology that can transform SMEs and stimulate growth.
