Chicago is wearing Safety Jonathan Owens this week made more than just an impression in training camp; He caught the attention of his biggest fan, Olympic legend Simone Biles.
The sevenfold Olympic gold medal winner shared a photo of her husband on Instagram, with his relaxed but stylish outfit for pre-practice.
Owens wore a black “The Smashing Pumpkins” graphic T-shirt with a vintage design, combined with black shorts, white sneakers with black accents, a black backpack and white headphones draped around its neck. A silver necklace, bracelet, watch and visible sleeve tattoos added to the casual-cool atmosphere.

The Intense Training Camp of Chicago Bears
Owens’ off-field style came in the middle of what had been one of the most physical training camps in the bears in years. Under new coach Ben Johnson, the team has embraced a more difficult identity, with several exercises that break out earlier in the week.
Owens himself was part of the promotion. During a goal line drill, he picked up Roschon Johnson with a “Peanut Punch” movement to try to release the ball.
Johnson did not take it lightly, he threw the ball to Owens and then threw it at the grass. The short battle was one of four in the day, according to Bears Wire.
Despite the heated moment, Owens is working hard to enclose his place for the upcoming NFL season. In his second year with De Beren, he appeared in all 17 games last season, starting in five. Known as a depth piece for a large part of his career, the visibility of Owens has increased since his marriage to Biles in April 2023.
Simone Biles’s Olympic journey
While Owens focuses on football, Biles enjoys a rare break from the competition. Since its triumphant return to the Olympic Games of Paris 2024, where she earned three gold medals and one silver, the gymnastics has taken the time away from the sport.

Chicago Bears’ season ahead
De Beren hope that the intensity shown in the camp translates into better results in 2025. Last season, Chicago ended with a 5-12 record and missed the play-offs for the fourth consecutive year.
Owens will try to leave his mark while the bears have been pushing to their first play -off berth since 2020, while Biles will continue to decide what her own next chapter could look like.
Whether it is on the field or off, Owens and Biles remain one of the most viewed power pairs of sport.
