There are only two weeks in the regular season. Time to update the Nascar -Power rankings after Watkins Glen. Cup series drivers want to win a race to make the play -offs or hope to add more play -off points for Darlington.
Shane van Gisbergen set a Nascar record with his fourth victory of the season as Rookie. He is the first driver to win four road races in one season.
However, this weekend there were many other versions that separate drivers from each other. An update of the Nascar -Power ranking while we are preparing for Richmond.
1. Ryan Blaney-Team Penske (-)
In his last four races, Ryan Blaney has achieved four top 10s, two phase victories and a pole prize. His speed is on Dispaly every week. It feels like his next victory could be around the corner.
Blaney is still leading Team Penske this season. He has been the best driver in the group and that will take place in this week’s NASCAR Power Rankings.
2. Chase Briscoe – Joe Gibbs Racing (+3)
Another top five for Chase Briscoe and this 19 team is on a role. Briscoe has three P2 finishes and a P5 in the last five races.
Every week this team brings a fast car on the track. They will probably win more pile prizes earlier than later. Another victory should not be far away.
3. William Byron – Hendrick Motorsports (+4)

What about this?! William Byron now seems to itself again. P1 and P4 In the past two weeks, Byron seems to have shaken that summer grinding.
Byron leads the point of 42 on Chase Elliott and has a great chance to complete the regular season with a championship. He goes up a lot in the Nascar Power Rankings.
4. Bubba Wallace – 23xi Racing (+4)
What about the month that Bubba Wallace has had lately? P7, P1, P6 and P8 In the last four races ensures that Wallace goes to the play -offs in top form.
After supporting his victory in Indy with two solid races, Wallace goes up in the NASCAR Power Rankings. Can 23xi racing make some noise in the late season?
5. Ryan Preece – RFK Racing (+1)
Another week, another solid race from Ryan Preece. He had speed but eventually managed a P13 finish.
RFK Racing has two more chances to win this regular season. Can Preece deliver a victory and its first career victory to Richmond?
6. Chase Elliott-Hendrick Motorsports (-4)

A few top drivers had bad performance at Watkins Glen. P26 for Chase Elliott drops him in the NASCAR Power Rankings.
This is more the result of rewarding the drivers who had great days at Watkins Glen. Elliott is still one of the best in the series, but his last three races are matte to say the least.
7. Christopher Bell – Joe Gibbs Racing (+2)
Still looking for a new victory, Christopher Bell had a P2 finish for SVG at Watkins Glen. Not bad considering the dominant day of the kiwi.
Bell must become more consistent. He bounced BCK and again between great finishes and mediocre.
8. Denny Hamlin-Joe Gibbs Racing (-5)
P24 and P25 The past two weeks Denny Hamlin has to fall into the NASCAR Power Rankings this week. He was great in Indy and Dover, but struggled in the last two races.
Hamlin has had a great season. Can he get back on the right track and make a strong play -off run?
9. Kyle Larson-Hendrick Motorsports (-5)

Even worse than Hamlin, Kyle Larson finished P28 and P39. To his honor, he had the fastest round of the race on Sunday. But that is not much comfort for Larson and his team.
The Nascar Power Rankings have Larson at the bottom. But it won’t be long before it is on top of the series again.
10. Tyler Reddick-23xi Racing (-)
I wish I could move Tyler Reddick again after a good race at Watkins Glen, but he made no impression, really. It was a rather timid P9 finish.
23xi racing would like Reddick to produce the results that Bubba Wallace recently had. Can the 45 things bring together in the next two weeks?
